The Stratosphere Las Vegas, is a tower, hotel, and casino located on what was once Las Vegas Boulevard just north of the Las Vegas Strip in Vega. It was the home of the Archangel Michael before he was exiled from Vega.[1]
The property's signature attraction is the Stratosphere Tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States, and the second tallest in the Western Hemisphere, surpassed only by the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario. The hotel is a separate building with 24 stories, 2,427 rooms and a casino. It is the tallest building west of the Mississippi River[2] and also the tallest structure in Vega. The Stratosphere was owned and operated by American Casino & Entertainment Properties.
The Stratosphere is the northernmost of the major Strip casinos. It was the only Las Vegas Strip hotel located in the City of Las Vegas.
